Fruit Logistica 2023
From 8 to 10 February, Tropical Food Machinery was in Berlin at Fruit Logistica 2023, the leading trade fair for the fresh fruit industry and its direct access to the global market.
The Transition Farm pilot project has ended
On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, Tropical Food Machinery participated at the headquarters of the University of Parma, Department of Economics and Business Sciences, at the final meeting of the pilot edition of Transition Farm. The project was created by Parma io ci sto! University of Parma and NATIVA, with the support of Cisita Parma, Unione Parmense degli Industriali, Gruppo Imprese and Federmanager Parma.

First day of ‘school’ today for the 10 recent graduates of the University of Parma who were chosen over 30 applications received to take part in ‘Transition Farm’, the pilot project conceived by the ‘Parma, io ci sto!’ (Parma, count me in!) Association with the University of Parma and Nativa, the support of Cisita Parma, Unione Parmense degli Industriali (Parma Union of Industrialists) and Gruppo Imprese Artigiane (Group of Artisan Enterprises).

From 26th to 29th April 2022, in Cologne – Germany, Tropical Food Machinery attended Anuga FoodTec, the world reference exhibition linked to the innovation of all industrial processes for the production of food and beverages.

On December 1st, a new multifruit facility by Tropical Food Machinery was inaugurated in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the King of Ashanti, Otomfuo Osei Tutu II, testifying to the great interest in collaboration between our two countries in the agribusiness sector.

Tropical Food Machinery sets up Costa Rica office, aiming to expand into center-American and Caribbean markets
Tropical Food Machinery, a global leader in the sector of fruit processing machinery, has strengthened its presence in Costa Rica by opening a new office in the country’s capital San José.
Founded in the late 1970s, the Italy-headquartered company currently boasts an operating branch in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, two-fruit processing plants located in the north of the country, as well as liaison offices across the Asia-Pacific and West Africa regions.
Cerere 6000 – The new automatic banana peeler
Tropical Food Machinery has patented the new automatic banana peeler “Cerere 6000” which has a working capacity of 6 mT/h of fresh product and a pulp extraction yield of 60%.
“Cerere 6000” will guarantee you a precise automatic peeling system and a reduced use of workforce, a processing of the pulp in inert atmosphere with anti-oxidant treatment, a constant productivity and an excellent final quality.
