| Tropical food, object: Increase the production of pineapple concentrated juice | ||||
| In order to meet the international market demand of Perola concentrated juice, the group Tropical Food increased the production capacity of its Brazilian processing company Flora Conservas Alimenticias Ltda, a well-known processing unit of pineapple for the production of concentrated juice for export. Further to the enlargement of the processing line and to a high-powered concentrator increased from two to four effects, the production for the year 2004 of pineapple concentrated juice “Perola variety” is expected to go up to 9,000 tonnes against the 5,000 tonnes of the previous year. | ||||
